Open House

Open House is just around the corner on Wednesday, August 31st from 3:30-5:30.  Stop by during that time to find our classroom and drop off all your school supplies. I can't wait to meet you all!  With the exception of: binders, folders, notebooks, water bottles, and student planners (which can be picked up in the office for $3.50) all other supplies will be used as community items and do not need to be labeled.  If you don't get everything on the school supply list, don't worry!  We usually have some extras, that being said, if you bought any extras feel free to bring those at that time.  At Open House, you will receive a folder from me with classroom and school forms to fill out and information to take home. You may want to wait until the second or third day of school to send these papers back.  It can be a little much on the first day for the students who are just learning backpack, locker, and turn in paper routines.  The first graders need to add 1 Mead Composition Notebook to their lists.  All students need to add a white t-shirt that will hopefully fit all year.  We will be tie-dying these shirts to wear during field trips and other special times throughout the year.  Please write your child's name on the inside collar or tag.  Students may also bring in a small personal pencil sharper with a shaving case if they wish.  Please remember to sharpen all pencils before coming to school!  Thank you for all your help in preparing your child for our year together!
